Self led school visits
If you wish to lead your own day out, please contact our team to book your visit. The grounds are open from 10am and the Hall is open every day from 12 noon, apart from Fridays. The church is not open every day so please ask when booking if this is part of your visit itinerary. We ask that you split into smaller groups (max 10 children) to explore different areas of the Hall.
To help you explore Kedleston Hall, we have a Kedleston Hall self guided activity sheet for school groups (PDF / 1.50390625MB) download which you can print at school to bring with you. Please bring pencils rather than pens to complete the sheets with.
We have a permanent orienteering course in the parkland which is available to buy for £1.50 per map on site. Please enquire if you would like more information or to prebook your maps.
