Christmas by candlelight at the Rock Houses
A cosy Christmas celebration awaits inside these quirky homes carved out of rock. Mulled wine will be warming on the range all afternoon and Father Christmas will be here to welcome little visitors.
With flickering candlelight and the smell of mulled wine, join us inside the Rock Houses from 11-3pm on Saturday 1, Sunday 2, Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 December for a cosy Christmas celebration.
Mulled wine will be warming on the open fire of the range and the walls will be decked with boughs of holly and ivy from the garden.
Pay a visit to Father Christmas in the cave grotto and be sure to tell him what's on your Christmas list this year. You never know, he might have a little gift already waiting for you.
Step outside to the surrounding countryside of Kinver Edge, and you can enjoy a festive-themed family trail through the woods. This ramble leads to expansive views from the Hill Fort, with crisp winter air and space to blow away the winter cobwebs. The trail is free and will be waymarked through the woodland.
Normal admission charges apply, free entry for NT members. Visits to Father Christmas cost £3 per child. There is no need to book, just drop in.
