An exhibition of photography by Stuart Burch

Be inspired by Stuart Burch’s photography exhibition, entitled “Among Trees” to be held upstairs in the drawing room at Leith Hill Place this summer from 25 August until 1 October.

An evocative and enchanting exhibition by local photographer, Stuart Burch, whose passion for the Surrey Hills countryside is born out of fond memories of a exploring the natural world as a child. Now 40 years on, Stuart is using his artistic ability to reproduce the beauty of the countryside through photography and is joined by his son, Joshua, himself an award-winning wildlife photographer.

Take time to visit us in the peaceful setting of Leith Hill, where we are surrounded by hills and natural beauty. Leith Hill Place is a hidden gem of a house, and provides a calm and peaceful setting for such an inspiring and thought provoking exhibition.

Photography will be for sale and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Leith Hill Place. The exhibition will run from 25 August to 1 October and is free but normal admission charges to the house apply.

Visit this magical exhibition and experience the spirit of Leith Hill Place, itself a place of beauty and genius, formerly the childhood home of Ralph Vaughan Williams. There are gardens to walk and sit in, as well as a kitchen where volunteer bakers are baking fresh cakes and scones most days. Sit in our dining room with fabulous views over the Surrey Hills and enjoy a cup of tea and cake while you ponder the beauty of Stuart Burch’s photography. The house is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday every week as well as Bank Holiday Mondays. For further information please contact leithhillplace@nationaltrust.org.uk or call us on 01306 711685
