In 2023 we took visitors back in time on a journey on Christmas through the ages. The house was adorned with decorations from five different eras, there was a family present trail, and golden pears and Christmas trees were dotted around the 270-acre site.

Christmas at Lacock

All was bright and full of light at Lacock for the Christmas festivities in 2023. We invited you to follow the reindeer trail around the village and take part in the activity stations around the abbey, themed around the Aurora Borealis. The Community Christmas Tree festival was once more celebrated in the Cloister, with the Great Hall decked out in traditional decorations. The Lacock Christmas Grotto was open for special Storytime sessions with Christmas guests (even Father Christmas couldn't resist a pop in closer to the big day!), and you could pose for a Christmas pic in the sleigh parked in the Courtyard.
