Join us for an Easter adventure in nature at our places in Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Discover family-friendly trails with fun activities for you to do along the way. Complete a trail and earn your chocolate egg at the end.

Stowe 

Hop, skip and jump into spring at Stowe and enjoy the sights and sounds of the garden as you complete 10 nature-based activities. Use the activity sheet to record your family adventure and get active in the outdoors. Get ready to reach like a rainbow, listen to nature's orchestra and watch the clouds. Take as long as you need on this trail, have fun and take it all in. Finish the trail and collect your Rainforest Alliance chocolate egg. 15-24 April 2022, 10am-5pm (last entry at 4pm), costs £3 per child.

Hughenden 

Join us for an Easter trail around the grounds spotting signs of spring as the gardens and countryside come alive with the warmer, longer days. Every day from Friday 8 - Sunday 24 Apr 2022, 10am-4pm. £3 per pack which includes an activity trail sheet, pencil and chocolate egg or alternative prize. Suitable for 4-10 year olds. This year our eggs are National Trust chocolate eggs, made in the UK using sustainably sourced Rainforest Alliance chocolate. (Whilst stocks last.)

Basildon Park 

Bring your Easter bunnies to Basildon Park this Easter and embark upon some adventures in nature. Make your merry way across the parkland calling at the 10 activity points along the way. Don't forget to pick up your Rainforest alliance chocolate egg at the end. The trail runs from 8-25 April, 10am-3.30pm and costs £3 per trail.

Cliveden 

This spring, treat your little ones to a world of adventures at Cliveden on the Easter adventures in nature trails. Make your way along the trail, finding nature-inspired activities for the whole family. The trail takes place between 9-24 April 2022, from 10am to 3pm while Easter egg stocks last, so come along and explore the beautiful gardens and woodlands of Cliveden. The price of the trail is £3 per child and includes a trail map, pencil and a chocolate egg at the end.

Greys Court 

With colourful spring bulbs blooming, the gardens and estate to explore, Greys Court makes a lovely setting for a family Easter day out. Embark on a nature adventure at Greys Court this Easter. Find fun-filled family activities to complete, then claim your chocolate egg. Trails are £3 each, with a chocolate egg at the end and run from 8-25 April, 10-3.30pm

Waddesdon Manor 

Embark on an adventure in nature at Waddesdon this Easter holiday. Explore the grounds with our family-friendly trail and enjoy 10 different nature-themed activities, from chatting to a gardener to building a tower from scavenged objects. Complete the trail and claim your Easter egg at the end. Trails £3 and can be booked in advance. The trail runs Wed 13 – Sun 24 Apr (inc Mon 18 and Tues 19).

White Horse Hill 

The Uffington White Horse can be seen from miles away leaping across the head of a dramatic dry valley called the Manger. There are ripples in the side of the hill called Giant's Steps and Dragon Hill is said to be the site where St George slew the dragon. Along with the myth and legend, there are miles of chalk grassland to run around in on the Easter adventure in nature, plus views over six counties. Trail funs from 15-18 April. There's a car park charge plus £3 per trail. Includes a chocolate Rainforest Alliance Easter egg

Chastleton 

A rare gem of a Jacobean country house, Chastleton was built at the beginning of the 16th century. Owned by the same family until 1991, the house remained essentially unchanged for nearly 400 years. The croquet lawn, gloriously tangled kitchen garden and topiaried Best Garden are a great size for little ones to explore on the Easter adventure in nature. The trail runs from 15-17 April. Normal admission plus £3 per trail, includes a chocolate Rainforest Alliance Easter egg

The Vyne 

Discover spring in The Vyne’s gardens. The sprawling gardens and woodlands are just waiting to be explored on the Easter adventure in nature trail. Look out for the delicate pink and white blossoms in the orchard, the sleepy blanket of bluebells in Morgaston Woods and keep eyes peeled for young ducklings, goslings and cygnets bobbing on the lake. With ten clues to hunt for, and fun tasks to give nature a helping hand. Then just hop like a bunny to pick up your chocolate egg. Runs 9-24 April 10am-3pm, £3 per trail.

Canons Ashby 

At the start of your Canons Ashby Easter adventures in nature trail, pick up your activity pack to find the bespoke trail you’re going to follow. Find and complete the 10 nature-inspired activities that are hiding along the way. 'Spot the signs of spring', 'Wibble and wobble' and 'Wake the wild things' are just some of the activities you can experience at Canons Ashby. Finish the trail and collect your Rainforest Alliance chocolate egg. Our Easter trail runs from Friday 15 April - Monday 18 April 2022 between 10am with last entry at 4pm and costs £3 per trail.
