Our Hampshire places are full of nature-themed, chocolatey fun this Easter, with Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts. You'll find trails with chocolate rewards at Mottisfont, Hinton Ampner, The Vyne, Uppark, Winchester City Mill and the New Forest. Become a countryside explorer at Mottisfont, with spider web limbo and giant nest-building challenges. Coronavirus update 

From end of Tuesday 24 March, we closed all our car parks to further restrict the spread of coronavirus. This followed the decision to close our parks and gardens in addition to our houses, shops and cafes. We urge people to stay local and observe social distancing. Please do not travel.

Join in the hunt this Easter

Hinton Ampner 

Hinton Ampner’s Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt will have little ones exploring the nooks and crannies of these pretty grounds for signs of nature. With flowers blooming and birds singing, there’s lots to tick off as they use their senses to find the clues on the trail, in return for a chocolate reward. 4 – 19 April, 10am – 3.30pm, £2.50 per entrant.

Uppark House & Garden 

The Cadbury Bunny has hidden precious chocolate eggs across the country, and some of them are here at Uppark. Now it's up to you and your family to find them by completing our nature-themed Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt around the grounds to collect a yummy chocolate treat. 4 – 19 April, 10am – 3.30pm, £2.50

Mottisfont 

Become a countryside explorer on Mottisfont’s Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt. There are loads of fun challenges for older children, from spider web limbo to giant nest-building. For little ones there are simpler ‘spotter’ activities to enjoy. And everyone can have fun making seed bombs to throw in their gardens. Delicious Cadbury chocolate for all participants. 4 – 19 April, 10am – 5pm, £2.50 per entrant.

The Vyne 

Uncover some of the spots that animals call ‘home’ on The Vyne’s Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt, and claim a Cadbury chocolate treat. Kids can find out about wildlife homes to have in their own gardens too, such as bug hotels and bird boxes (4 – 19 April, 10am-4pm, £3 per entrant). Join our Ranger Rabbit trail to find out how our busy rangers protect wildlife, and try these ideas at home, from log piles to bat boxes (2 Mar – 31 May, 10am-5pm, free).

Winchester City Mill 

The gardener has lost all the lovely spring plants he needs to put in the mill’s garden before nightfall. On this new spring trail, kids can turn ‘plant hunters’ as they help seek out plants hidden around the mill (4 – 19 April, £1 per entrant). Over the Bank Holiday weekend there are new challenges to solve on the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt, in return for a Cadbury chocolate egg (10 – 13 April, £2 per entrant). 10am – 4pm.

New Forest 

Discover early signs of spring with our rangers, on this Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt. Kids can learn about our forest birds too, from where they nest to the creepy crawlies they like to eat. There'll be den building, bushcraft, chainsaw carving, tractors, and local visiting animals to meet.
