February half-term in and around East Sussex

There are lots of ways to get kids outdoors and having fun in and around East Sussex this half term. Bodiam Castle 

Hunt around the castle and grounds for the precious gem markers, as you discover more about Lord Curzon’s adventures in India. Trail £2.50.

Pick up a trail from reception to find out more about the famous writers and adventurers that visited the Kipling family and signed their names in the guest book. Runs daily during half-term, £2.50 per trail.

Scotney Castle

There are plenty of ways to get involved at Scotney Castle this half term. Join the rangers to plant a tree in the orchard, become a tree detective or learn about photography. Session times and prices vary.

Sissinghurst Castle Garden 

Half-term is a chance to pull on the wellies and get outside. Head down to the lakes to our 50 things area, where you can build a den or make a stick trail to help guide your fellow ramblers. Tuck into warming treats in the café after. Daily during half-term.

The coast and countryside we look after in and around East Sussex lies waiting to be explored. Explore the wider estate at Bateman's or take in coastal vistas at Birling Gap. Tackle winding trails in the Cuckmere Valley or climb up Devil's Dyke. Wherever you choose, breathe in the fresh air and feel free this half-term.
