The tea-room at Lorna Doone

As a gateway to the Coleridge Way, South West Coast Path and Doone Valley the buttery (tea-room) is a perfect place to refresh.

In line with government guidance, you're required to wear a face covering in most enclosed spaces, unless exempt. Please bring one with you.

What's on offer?

The tea-room is open serving hot and cold drinks, cream teas, pasties and traybakes.

How should I pay?

To keep everyone safe we prefer card payments. 

Where would you recommend enjoying my snack?

There is indoor seating and also outdoor picnic tables in the garden by the river. 

Are the toilets open?

Yes, the toilets are open.

Frothy coffee or plain honest tea

After you've had a good walk, nothing beats a good hot drink, our tea and coffe are from fairtrade suppliers. We've also got a great range of herbal teas, and for a real treat, we do a luxurious hot chocolate. Of course, we are also famous for our cream teas - delicious any time of year.
