Lyme is home to a friendly robin who sees many of the goings on you may not notice! This summer explore the house and garden with the robin’s help and discover some of Lyme’s secrets whilst having lots of fun along the way.

The Secret Life of ... the garden
Garden open every day, 10.30am-5pm (last entry 4.30pm)
The beautiful garden at Lyme is home to many animals and you may be surprised at some of the things they get up to!
Pick up an explorer map and head out in to the garden. Climb in to a bird's nest, pretend you are a bee making honey in a hive and see if you can learn the call sounds of the birds in the gardens. For little ones there is fun to be had and robins to spot; for older children there are interesting facts to collect along the way!

The house is very old and has many secrets to keep - can you help discover them?
There are secret doors hidden in corners and a room where a skeleton was discovered! Follow the robin around the house and see which rooms hold which secrets. Tick the secrets off your list each time you find them.
Pick up an explorer sheet for £2 from the Ticket Office with both house and garden activities included in it. House and garden tickets required, NT members free.
