A fresh new kitchen

The Old Kitchen Café at Melford Hall

This season we celebrate the opening of the newly styled ‘Old Kitchen Café’ in what was the 1950s kitchen. This means that our small but friendly team will be able to tempt you with a wider range of freshly made food using ethically sourced ingredients.

You can choose light lunches with homemade soup or savoury one-pots, in addition to our sandwiches prepared daily and hot sausage rolls which will warm you on those colder days.

Traditional teatime favourites such as freshly baked fruit or cheese scones and a choice of cakes will of course still be available. Once you have made your choices you can sit and enjoy your food in either the Courtyard or Park rooms, and when the days get warmer outside on the Croquet lawn. You can take in the views of the park land whilst your children enjoy playing with one of our story bags.

If you have an allergy or intolerance, please let us know
We make most of our food here in our busy kitchen, using a wide range of ingredients. Whilst we do our best, we can’t guarantee that any of our products are totally allergen free.
We’d love to help you with your choice by telling you about our ingredients. Visited before? Please speak to one of our team as ingredients sometimes change.
