Gift membership prize draw terms and conditions

When you give someone a National Trust membership, not only are you giving them the chance to make new memories in places filled with nature and history, you’re helping to protect those places. We're offering members an exclusive opportunity to enter a prize draw for the chance to win one of five £100 National Trust gift cards when they give someone a membership online.

How to enter the prize draw

To enter the prize draw, you’ll need to be a member and purchase a gift membership online before 11.59pm on 10 December 2023 using the code GIFTMEM23 at checkout.

The winners will be drawn at random and notified on or before 22 December 2023. Full terms and conditions apply and you can read them below.

1. The prize draw is open to National Trust members, excluding National Trust employees and their immediate families.
2. The prize draw is only valid for existing members who buy a gift membership online.
3. Only the following gift memberships are eligible: individual, joint and family. Junior memberships and life memberships are not included.
4. Members paying for gift memberships in person, by telephone or via the National Trust online retail shop will not be eligible to take part in the prize draw.
5. Please enter by following the instructions above.
6. Entrants must be aged 18 or over.
7. Prize draw code GIFTMEM23 is only valid until 11.59pm on 10 December 2023. Prize draw entries will not be accepted after this time.
8. Late, incomplete or corrupt entries will not be accepted.
9. Five winners will be drawn at random from all valid entries.
10. The winners will be notified by email by 5pm on 22 December 2023 via the email address associated with their membership.
11. The winners of the prize draw will each win a £100 National Trust gift card.
12. Gift cards will be posted to the winners at the address associated with their membership, unless a winner has notified us of a different address within five business days of receipt of the notification email.
13. All prizes are non-transferable. No cash alternative or refund can be made.

15. The surname and county of the winners will be published on our website. If you object to your surname and county being published, or wish to reduce the amount of information to be published, please contact us separately at takepart@nationaltrust.org.uk.
16. Events may occur that may render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond our control, and accordingly we may vary or amend the promotion. We’ll do everything we reasonably can to ensure that participants receive prizes of at least equal value.
17. Personal data supplied during this competition will be processed as set out in our privacy policy.
18. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
