Winter walks at Montacute House

Grab your wellies and coats to brace the wintry weather by going outside and enjoying some of our adventurous walks at Montacute. Once completed you can return to the café, which is serving takeaway winter warmers, for something warm and delicious to raise your spirits.

Please book ahead before visiting 

The garden, parkland, takeaway café (limited offer) and toilets are open for local exercise. We've introduced advance booking to keep everyone safe and maintain social distancing. You’ll need to book your tickets online or by calling 0344 249 1895 by 3pm the day before your visit. Members can book for free, while non-members will need to pay when booking. We'll be releasing tickets every Friday. Please note we’ll be turning people away who arrive and haven't booked. We're looking forward to welcoming you.

The Avenues walk at Montacute

The walk runs parallel to the south of the parkland, towards Odcombe Lodge, where walkers can enjoy the shade of the Oak Avenue and a variety of wildlife. You will need to book your visit in advance.
