Have a carefree summer and join in our fun activities for children! Craft and outdoor activities that change each week, Mondays and Tuesdays, always with something to make and take home. You’ll also be able to play 17th century games!
Teddy Bears' Picnic, 30-31 July
Bring your teddy bears to our woodland picnic. Find the honey pot, make a bee and sing a song!
The Great Wash, 6-7 August
Learn about seventeenth century hygiene and how we kept clean. Make your own soap!
Merrie Monarchy, 13-14 August
Prepare to dine with Charles II - Make a pineapple, learn a dance and find Charles' lost Cup Bearer.
Wild Horses & Whirligigs, 20-21 August
Race a hobbyhorse around an obstacle course and make a whirligig.
£1.50 per child plus normal admission. Drop in between 12pm and 4pm (no booking necessary)
