Heritage Open Day at Moseley Old Hall
What does it feel like to be in fear for your life? What does it take to offer shelter to a hunted man? Come and meet the special people who became part of history for two extraordinary days in 1651.
Saturday 8th September - Heritage Open Day (free admission to all)
Join us on the anniversary of Charles II arriving at Moseley and meet some of the key characters involved in his escape. Find them around the house and talk to them about the dramatic events of 1651.
Parliamentarian soldiers and camp followers from Colonel John Pickering's Regiment of Foote will also be around, demonstrating musketry and pike drill.
Come and feel the atmosphere of a country at war - which side will you choose?
If you enjoyed your day, consider becoming a National Trust member.
