We're celebrating autumn colour in the grounds with some creative workshops in October.

Land art

Saturday 14 – Sunday 15 October, 10am-5pm: help create large-scale pieces of temporary art, using natural materials found in the grounds. These free sessions are suitable for all the family. We've created some incredible spectacles in previous years - what will we make this year?

Test Valley Arts Foundation workshops

Saturday 21 - Sunday 22 October, 10am-5pm: drop-in creative workshops with artists Daniel Lobb and Laurence Rushby, inspired by the autumn colours of our gardens.

Test Valley Arts Foundation is a charitable organisation set up to inspire creative development and champion arts in the Test Valley area. You can find out more about the TVAF here.

Colour in the gallery

As well as creative workshops around the grounds, we're celebrating colour with an exhibition from textile artist Kaffe Fassett in our gallery.

Kaffe Fassett's Colour at Mottisfont

Celebrating the dazzling work of world-renowned artist Kaffe Fassett, this vibrant exhibition showcases a wide range of textiles from a career spanning over 50 years. From 16 September - 14 January, our gallery will be transformed with pools of vibrant colour, providing the perfect backdrop for Kaffe’s distinctive knitwear, tapestry, quilts and more.
