Our work at Mottisfont
From 18th century landscapes to delicate paintings, we have a lot to look after here at Mottisfont.
Looking after Mottisfont
All our teams work hard to protect and preserve this wonderful place for future generations to enjoy.
Our conservation assistants in the house are always busy cleaning and conserving our collections, while our gardens team is often to be seen tending our historic gardens and streams, as well as our world-famous collection of old roses.
Conserving our past
Every day the house team do their regular conservation checks. Daily tasks include looking for pests, checking light levels and delicately cleaning the collection.
Tending our garden
Our gardens team can always been found around the grounds, lovingly looking after the lawns, flower beds and the pristine River Test.
Caring for our estate
Our countryside team look after 500 acres of estate around Mottisfont, protecting delicate ecosystems and habitats for our local wildlife.
