Snowdrop season at Newark Park

Newark Park re-opens on 13 February with its snowdrop season. Bring your walking boots and enjoy a winter's walk amongst carpets of snowdrops in the gardens and the estate. There is also a fun children's trail in the Half Term holidays.

Snowdrops in bloom traditionally signal the end of winter, and there are many carpets of snowdrops to admire in the Newark gardens and estate. So bring your wellies or walking boots for an enchanting winter's walk at Newark Park.

You can warm up at the end of your walk with a hot beverage or a tasty panini from the catering pavilion; did you know that you can enjoy your lunch in the Tudor Sitting Room in Newark House?

On cold days the fires on the ground floor of Newark Park are lit, and whilst you are in the house make sure to venture to the top floor where we host our first exhibition of the year by John Wilson.

Younger visitors might want to try out our House trails, as well as the dressing up room on the first floor. And in Half Term week we host a special garden trail for children (though the whole family might want to help out!).
