BBC Gardener's World at Nymans

The Sunk Garden in the September sun

Gardener's World presenter, Mark Lane, spent time with the team in the nursery, finding out how we use sustainable gardening techniques and how this makes Nymans one of the most sustainable places in the National Trust.

" It was really exciting to have Mark and the Gardener’s World team with us. Viewers will find out how to select plants for gardening in dry conditions and will hear more about our plans to become even more sustainable. "

Mark takes viewers around some of the garden's most well known spots, stopping off in the Sunk Garden, with its Byzantine urn made from Istrian marble, and by the South African beds, where colourful swathes of plants follow an inspiring planting design.

You can see Nymans on Gardener's World this Friday, 20 September on BBC2 at 8pm.
