Alice's summer adventure at Ormesby Hall

Hanging clocks in the courtyard

Enter the world of Lewis Carroll through his classic tale of Alice in Wonderland.

Alice is shrinking, can you find her in the house? Follow the shrinking Alice trail to discover the story of Alice in Wonderland in the Alice inspired rooms. As you enter the library you will be welcomed by the sound of ticking clocks signalling the start of the story as the white rabbit rushes down the rabbit hole. Can you spot the rabbit tails in the flower borders?

Walk through the house finding parts of the story and things to do along the way. Don't be tricked by the cheshire cat and remember not to pick the Queen of Hearts roses on the rose trail through the woods. For a more friendly feel the kitchen provides the setting for the mad hatters tea party.

You can also make crowns, bunny ears and more Alice inspired crafts in the family room. Dress up as Alice, mad hatter or the terrifying Queen of Hearts and take a picture with the mad hatters table. And if you dare then join the Queen of Hearts on Wednesdays, 11 - 2 for storytime.

Hungry? Then stop by the tea-room for an Alice inspired snack.

So come along for an Alice inspired summer with us.
