Find the signs of spring

Pick up the spring trail when you arrive and discover the nature residing at Ormesby Hall. Whether you love daffodils, lambs or blue tits at springtime, you can spot them all with us.

While the Cadbury bunny was hiding his clues for the Cadbury Egg Hunt around the garden, the Easter chicks have wandered off to peek inside the house so see how many you can find for the spring trail.

And more…

In addition to the Cadbury Egg Hunt, there's always plenty to see and do at Ormesby Hall for families.
You can also pick up a free ‘50 things to do before you're 11 ¾’ scrapbook from the admission point and get started on your family adventure. How many things you can tick off in one day at Ormesby Hall?

Be fascinated by the miniature world of model railways at the three permanent layouts, including an interactive Thomas the Tank Engine layout. Then in the Victorian laundry children can get dressed up and have a go at some scrubbing to experience the life of a servant.

Don’t miss the garden games and a game of croquet and a visit to the new mud pie kitchen for some family lunch.

If you would like to bring a family picnic then there are plenty of spots in the garden to relax and enjoy it, or you can pop into our tea-room to treat yourself to some soup or sandwich or an afternoon treat of cakes and scones.
