Outdoor cinema at Ormesby Hall

Summer Nights is a festival of outdoor film screenings in beautiful heritage locations throughout the summer. We're delighted to be hosting three fantastic films at Ormesby Hall this August.

Bohemian Rhapsody

Bohemian Rhapsody (12A) - Wednesday 28 August

Following the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound, their near implosion as Mercury’s lifestyle spirals out of control, and their triumphant reunion, this foot-stomping biopic is a romp through the years leading up to Queen’s career rejuvenating performance at 1985’s Live Aid.

Dirty Dancing

Dirty Dancing (12A) - Thursday 29 August

“Nobody puts Baby in the corner!” Drama, music and romance are the order of the day for Frances “Baby” Houseman as she spends summer in a holiday camp and falls in love with dance instructor Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze).

Grease (PG) - Friday 30 August

Sandy, a wholesome exchange student (Olivia Newton John) and leather clad Danny, enjoy their summer nights romance but can their relationship handle the hard glare of the 1950s high school. It’s Pink Ladies, T Birds and Greased Lightning in this rock n roll musical.
