Become a Volunteer Room Guide at Osterley Park and House

The Long Gallery at Osterley

Do you love history? Are you fascinated by the secrets of stately homes? If you are, then being a Volunteer Room Guide with the National Trust might be the opportunity for you.

You don’t have to be an expert in art or history – we’ll help you with all the information you need. If you like giving people a friendly welcome and you’re passionate about stories then we’d love to hear from you.

Our Room Guides help the National Trust share the stories of Osterley House with the public – chatting to visitors in the rooms or leading tours.

Osterley’s stories are varied and range from Queen Elizabeth I to the Great Fire of London, the East India Company to Georgian society’s biggest scandal, as well as 1940s Hollywood and World War II.
