Enjoy Easter at Oxburgh Hall

Springtime is that wonderful time of year when nature awakens and we venture outside after a cold winter. There's lots to discover and an estate filled with a carpet of stunning daffodils, with fun activities to get you out and about this Easter, including the popular Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt.

We are lucky at Oxburgh to have such a wonderful estate where nature provides us with beauty and fun activities to discover throughout the year. Just as our snowdrops and aconites are beginning to return to the soil, its our daffodils' turn to shine.

Already our miniature daffodils are beginning to bloom, with plenty more on their way. Throughout the season, we'll have miniatures, trumpets, and pheasant eye daffodils on show.

There are plenty of activities throughout April and something every day during the Easter holidays to help you discover the wonders of nature and the outdoors (see What's On for details). You could come for the day, enjoy a picnic if the weather is nice, or lunch and a drink in our tea room. Dogs are permitted throughout our gardens and estate, so why not bring them along too!

The very popular Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt returns 31st March to 2nd April. Grab a trail and find the clues for your chocolate surprise!

For young, budding rangers we also have our Wild in the Woods sessions (4th and 11th April) to discover fun forestry skills. Our den building and bug hotel in our natural play area in the woods are open every day to explore too.

If you fancy getting more involved in the garden then you can meet our garden team during the 9th to 15th April to sow some seeds and help us grow our estate. Why not return in the summer and see how they have done?

If you are looking for that special thing to do after the Easter holidays you could always return at the end of April to unleash your child's creative side with our St George's Day craft session on 22nd April.

We look forward to seeing you! Your visit helps us to conserve this special place.

Support Oxburgh's Roof appeal

Oxburgh Hall's roof is in need of urgent repair. Our roof tiles, timbers and brickwork are showing signs of aging; we’re not surprised, they’re well over 500 years old
