Fancy exploring the outdoors and trying out something new this May half term? Pick up a '50 things to do before you’re 11¾' booklet from Visitor Reception and start ticking off the activities you can do here at Packwood.
Take along your 50 Things booklet to the Welly Walk and tick off some of those activities such as building a den, bird spotting and making a trail with sticks. The Welly Walk is a wonderful woodland area, full of adventure and a great place to run free, discover wildlife and have fun. Using a child friendly map, families can embark on an adventure together through the woodland with various activities at different points along the walk.
If the weather is fair bring a picnic and head to the tennis lawn to relax while the children play with the outdoor games or grab a tasty ice-cream.
The lake is the ideal place to spot a variety of birds from Canada geese, moor hens and our our native greylag geese. It's also a perfect place to go on a bug hunt, turn over a few logs and see what creepy crawlies you can find scurrying around in the mud.
Pop over to our Kitchen Garden and see what the gardeners are growing in the vegetable plots and little ones will love playing in the Pottering Shed and watering the flower beds ready for the warmer months. Don’t forget the teddy bears are waiting for you to join their picnic!
