The Baron Ash Project - an invitation to artists

Baron Ash reading in the bay of the Great Hall

Packwood would like to work with a visual artist to explore and present a new way of looking at and thinking about this curious person, and create an emotional experience at Packwood which will take centre stage in 2017-2018, sited mainly in the landscape, with an option to site works in the house as well.

We are inviting artists to come to Packwood to meet the team and find out more about the project in an informal way. Following this we will invite a number of artists to send in an Expression of Interest proposal, for which we will offer £300. The successful artist will be chosen by a panel of National Trust staff and volunteers and a contemporary curator.

Interested? Please download the artist brief and supporting documents for further details. Open Day 28 November – please RSVP by Monday 21st November. We look forward to hearing from you.
