Submissions open on 1 June for the Mixed Emotions Photographic Exhibition (28 October - 3 December), an exhibition that conveys the range of emotions that Petworth inspires in its visitors. To celebrate the opening of submissions, this May half-term from 27 May to 4 June the staff and volunteers of Petworth have taken their own photographs that capture what Petworth means to them and displayed these photos throughout the mansion.

The Mixed Emotions Photographic Exhibition is available for anyone to enter and this photography week running from 27 May to 4 June might be the perfect opportunity to gather some inspiration from the staff and volunteers of Petworth.

With a team of over 600 volunteers and staff that work in the mansion, park and behind the scenes you can be certain there's a variety of subjects caught on camera. From intricate close up details of items in the collection to wide open landscapes of the 700 acre deer park and perhaps even some more unusual perspectives, each photograph captures a feeling that reflects what Petworth means to the photographer.

Normal admission prices apply for the Mixed Emotions Photography Week with submissions to the Mixed Emotions Exhibition opening on 1 June and closing 31 August. Following a judging process the chosen pieces will then be displayed in the Exhibition Gallery from 28 October to 3 December.
