Highlight talks

Drop in for a 10 minute specialist talk in the mansion led by one of our volunteers discussing a different aspect of the collection with each talk.

Royals, Rebels and Romance; the stories behind our portraits

Join a 45 minute tour of the mansion and discover more about the characters behind the portraits that hang from the walls. Find out about their connections to royalty and some of the stories that brought these paintings to Petworth.

Behind the scenes tours

Your chance to enjoy hidden Petworth. Upstairs, see the State Bed, one of the finest examples of Rococo design in the country, whilst the Estate Offices offer a glimpse of the working life of the servants at Petworth. Please note that tours cannot be pre-booked and are subject to change.
