A watercolour made by a family at Petworth

Get your creative ideas going on 13, 15, 17, 20, 22 and 24 February for some half-term crafting fun perfect for younger visitors.

This February half-term younger visitors can follow in the footsteps of JMW Turner and try their hand at making their own watercolour masterpieces.

Draw some inspiration from the Turner & The Age of British Watercolour exhibition and make your own works of art to rival those on diplay or gather your ideas from Petworth Park.

Slip on an apron and get creative working with wax and watercolour paints, learning some fun techniques such as printing, watercolour resist and tie dye.

Will you capture a deer on paper or bring to life the first blooms of spring? The choice is all yours.

Wax and Watercolours runs on 13, 15, 17 and 20, 22 and 24 February at £2 per craft and normal admission prices apply.
