Polesden Lacey's Cadbury's Easter Egg Hunt: Carnival Capers
Help bunny to pull together a fabulous and eye-catching outfit so he can take part in the Polesden Carnival with his woodland friends. This year's Cadbury's Easter Egg hunt takes place from 1 - 17 April (Surrey school holidays) between 10am - 3pm, £3 per stylist.
Inspired by the postcards Mrs Greville has sent home throughout her adventures in South America, Polesden's woodland animals have decided to hold their own carnival full of frantic rhythm and dazzling colours.
Mr Blackbird has styled his feathers to acquire the look of a tropical parrot from the Brazilian rainforest. Little Lamb is dressed to impress as a dapper Peruvian llama.
Meanwhile, Mr Badger, tired of his usual monochrome wardrobe, looks stunning in an ostentatious headdress decorated with all the colours of the rainbow.
Bunny is the only one without a carnival outfit. Can you help him find elements from the woods and turn them into a fabulous costume in time for the carnival capers?
Try a midweek visit
Our Easter trails are extremely popular, especially over Easter weekend. If you'd prefer to avoid long queues and crowds, we would recommend a midweek visit outside the bank holiday weekend.
There are also lots of other Cadbury's Easter Egg Hunts happening at our neighbouring properties, like Hatchlands Park and Winkworth Arboretum.
Timed tickets in the house
This Easter we're exploring Mrs Greville's travels to far off South America inside the house. Please be aware that access to the house on weekends and bank holidays will be by timed-ticket only. The house will be open from 11am until 5pm with last entry at 4pm.
