What to see and do at Prior Park Landscape Garden

Enjoy the best views of Bath from this 18th-century landscape garden. Take in the scenery as you follow the circular route down to the ponds at the bottom of the valley and enjoy a piece of cake at our tea shed.

Abounding wildlife

Within this peaceful oasis you'll find swans, herons and other lakeside life. If you're quiet you might even see a roe deer or a badger.

Peaceful retreat

Relax in the summerhouse, which our volunteers reconstructed with the help of a photograph from 1912.

Hidden features

Unlock the secrets of the ice house. This mysterious structure has served more than one purpose over the years.

The Wilderness

This area at the top of the valley was unearthed by archaeologists in 2006 as part of a Time Team special. It's now been restored to its 18th-century glory.
