Dressing up clothes
Pop upstairs to the bedroom and discover our new replica 18th century costumes. Created by one of our talented volunteers, these costumes are just calling out to be tried on.
Try them all on and see which costume you prefer. Just remember to hang the clothes back up for the next family to enjoy.
18th century pastimes
Inside the drawing room the grown ups can relax by the fireside as the kids enjoy some traditional parlour games.
How many times can you get the ball into the cup? It's trickier than it looks!
Pick up a spotter sheet from the Coach House and see how many items you can find around the house.
Give yourself a point for each thing you spot and find out who's the best spotter in the family.
Venture into the Bicentenary Room and get a real feel for history with our handling collection.
Along with replica uniforms, you can have get a hand on the type of weapons that may have been used in the Quebec campaign.
