Join us for an innovative and exciting new interpretation project at Red House.

From 1:30pm enter the house and discover the life and stories of William Morris and his friends through 4 short films projected into the Dining Room.

Telling the story of Red House’ inception this artistic piece follows the highs and lows of life at Red House through the many intriguing characters tied up in Morris’ idyllic rural dream.

Technology and storytelling merge to bring the Dining Room to life, highlighting the original decoration of the room and house as a whole.

The short films run at 15 minute intervals with

Chapter 1: Lets be pilgrims on the hour,

Chapter 2: Towers of Topsy quarter past the hour,

Chapter 3: Taming nature at half past the hour and

Chapter 4: Just a dream? at forty-five minutes past the hour

Take a wander around the house and return for the whole story or dip in to get a taster of the 5 year story that played out at Red House.
