Spring Garden Portrait: May half term at Red House
This May half-term there’s something for everyone to do at Red House, with a variety of activities on offer.
Have you ever tried to take the perfect selfie or the perfect portrait? Look no further than Red House.
Flowers are blooming in the Red House garden as spring arrives. To celebrate this festival of colour and new life we are creating a larger than life photo frame in our garden. The frame will move around the garden through the half term week to guarantee that you will always find the best photoshoot.
Wear a wild crown
Add some flair to your Spring Garden Portrait and complete one of your 50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾ too. Join us at the weekend to decorate a mask with natural materials in our garden crafting tent to create your wild crown.
Half term trail
As we celebrate William Morris’s legacy of craftsmanship in 2019, we are combining craft and nature in our May half term trail. Join us to learn how to craft fake flowers to take home. But we won’t make it too easy for you; you’ll have to find the instructions in the garden.
