Outdoor theatre this summer at Rufford Old Hall
Make your summer one to remember. Pack a picnic and sit back for two unique twists on classic tales by William Shakespeare and Charlotte Brontë, all against the stunning backdrop of Rufford Old Hall's garden.
Prepare for the show
Each performance will take place on our Beech Walk Paddock, surrounded by beautiful trees and the gentle calm of the Leeds & Liverpool canal. Sounds perfect, doesn't it? But while everyone knows us northerners are made of sterner stuff, it might get a little chilly in the evening so make sure you wear plenty of layers.
Seating is not provided, so we recommend bringing a comfortable blanket. We have toilet facilities, including an accessible toilet and baby changing station, and free parking will be available on-site for attendees. If you need to know anything else, just send us an email to ruffordoldhall@nationaltrust.org.uk.
Ticket holders are welcome to visit while the property is open between 10.30am-4.30pm and stay until the performance begins (please note the Beech Walk Paddock will be closed between 6-7pm).
Prices
For both performances, tickets are priced at £18 for adults, £11 for children and £11 for over 65s/unwaged.
Please note tickets cannot be purchased on the night, you must book in advance. Tickets can be booked online until midnight the day before the show.
