Easter egg hunts at Scotney Castle
Join us for an Easter adventure in nature at Scotney Castle. Discover our family-friendly trail with fun activities for you to do along the way. Complete the trail and earn your chocolate reward at the end. We know how much joy our Easter egg trails bring to our visitors each year and we hope this year will be the same. However, we ask that you support your local property and tickets must be booked in advance.
Easter adventures in nature
Friday 2 - Sunday 18 April (whilst stocks last), 10am-5pm (last entry at 4pm)
There's lots of fun to be had with your family as you head along your trail. Leaping like a lamb, watching the weather, or peeking into veg patches are just some of the different experiences you could enjoy.
The trail pack will include an activity bag, pencil and activity sheet. Please note that the chocolate egg or alternative prize will be included in the bag at the start of the trail so we advise parents to remove the prize before the little ones start.
Before visiting, please check local and national government guidance on travelling. We expect the Easter bank holiday to be popular this year, so please note that the Easter trail will last for as long as stocks last.
£3 per trail - available to purchase at the garden entrance
Book your visit
You don’t need to book your Easter trails, but you will need to book your Easter visit. To manage visitor numbers so that social distancing can be ensured for the safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors, the pre-booking system still applies. Booking will provide access to the property, not the Easter adventures in nature trail, which can be purchased on the day.
Tickets are released every Friday, so you won't be able to book your Easter visit until Friday 26 March. Book your visit at nationaltrust.org.uk/scotney-castle/whats-on
