Step back in time and see the house decorated as the Hussey family would have enjoyed it in the Victorian era. Admire the sumptuous feast awaiting the family in the dining room and the tall Christmas tree in the Drawing room. Why not arrange a Christmas lunch date with friends in our tea-room or browse the shop for some stress-free Christmas shopping? We've plenty going on mid-week so you can enjoy Scotney at a more relaxed pace.

Join the Hussey family for a Victorian Christmas Eve

Saturday 23 November - Sunday 5 January, 11am-3pm. Celebrate the Victorian Christmas that the Hussey family would have enjoyed. Play with children’s toys under the Christmas tree, dance in the hall and see the dining room getting ready for Christmas celebrations.

Soak up the Christmas atmosphere and enjoy carol singing in front of the Old Castle on Sunday 15 December at 11.30am and 2pm. This year we are joined by a local Victorian carol singing group who will lead the sing along to all of your festive favourites.
