Christmas at Seaton Delaval Hall

Join us at Seaton Delaval Hall this December when every weekend until 17th you can enjoy live carols between 12 – 2pm. Don’t miss the Central Hall adorned with festive foliage and beautiful decorations.

Children will love taking part in our Christmas trail around the grounds.  Take part in our festive Make & Do sessions and make a Christmas star or tree decoration (3 December), make a special gift bag for Rudolph (10 December) or a wooden Christmas tree decoration (17 December).

Visit the beautifully decorated Central Hall then head out into the grounds for a refreshing winter's day walk with the frosty parterre twinkling in the winter sunshine.  If you fancy something a little longer, pick up a map from our Visitor Welcome team and head out on one of our wider estate walks, exploring the stunning local landscape.  Head back to the hall in time to warm up in the cafe with a delicious mug of hot chocolate or mulled wine and treat yourself to a mince pie… or two!

Need to do a spot of Christmas shopping but can’t face the thought of the crowds? Our shop is stocked full of treats for your nearest and dearest, so whether they’re a foodie, a fashionista or green fingered, we’ve got something with their name on it! You can also order gifts online without having to leave the comfort of your home.  Simply visit https://shop.nationaltrust.org.uk. Alternatively, open the doors to 500 special places with the gift of membership and see your favourite people make memories time and time again.

Don't forget that we're open on Christmas Eve too, so if you need a break from the last minute chaos, pop along for some fresh air and a warm welcome.
