Open every day during the Easter holidays there’s plenty of family fun to enjoy at Seaton Delaval Hall! Hunt for chocolate, get creative in Make & Do, see the Delaval sheep return and have some fun with toys and games in the paddock.
Cadbury Egg Hunt
Friday 14 – Friday 21 April, 11am – 4pm
To celebrate the arrival of spring, Bunny's thrown an Easter tea party in the woods. To find the party, Bunny has set out some clues, with help from his woodland friends. Follow the clues, find the tea party then work out where Bunny’s hidden his secret chocolate stash! Complete the hunt and receive a yummy Cadbury chocolate reward.
Find the Delaval sheep
Every day of the holidays, 11am-5pm
See the wooden sheep return once again for spring, with pastures new! Follow the sheep trail through the woodland – can you work out which Delaval each sheep represents?
Make & Do
Sunday 9 April, Wednesday 12 April, Sunday 16 April, Wednesday 19 April, Sunday 23 April. 11am-1pm
Join us for a Make & Do – our free children’s craft activity every Sunday and Wednesday during the school holidays. With a different crafty activity every session you can make all sorts of things with us this Easter, including finger puppets, bug pebbles and Easter egg mobiles!

Open every day during the school holidays there’s plenty of family fun to be had at Seaton Delaval Hall. Explore the natural playscape, discover the West Wing on an indoor trail, build a den in the woodland, have some fun with 50 things or simply run wild and free in the open landscape – just like the Delaval children would have done! There will also be toys and games outside in the paddock for you to use – have a mini boules tournament, challenge your dad to a tennis match or have a family game of football!
