Open every day during the Easter holidays there’s plenty of family fun to enjoy at Seaton Delaval Hall! Hunt for chocolate; get creative in Make and Do, see the Delaval sheep return and have some fun with the games in the paddock.

Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt

Friday 30 March – Friday 13 April, 11am – 4pm

Bring the whole family together this Easter and treat your loved ones to the magic of our Cadbury Easter Egg hunts! Get ready for fun and discovery as you spot the first signs of spring and experience nature bursting in to life at Seaton Delaval Hall. Follow Bunny’s clues with our trail inspired by birdsong, find the giant nest and finish your adventure with a delicious chocolatey treat.

Find the Delaval sheep

Every day of the holidays, 11am-5pm

The Delaval family sheep are back!  They’ve been given their annual check-up from the vet AKA the maintenance team and are now out and about on site for the new season.  Where are they this year?  Follow the sheep trail through the woodland – each one represents a member of the flamboyant Delaval family who made the hall their home; can you work out which one each sheep represents?

Make and Do

Join us for a Make and Do – our free children’s craft activity every Sunday and Wednesday during the school holidays. With a different crafty activity every session you can make all sorts of things with us this Easter, including newspaper plant pots, Easter chicks and bird puddings.

Family fun and games

Every open day, 11am-5pm

Open every day during the school holidays there’s plenty of family fun to be had at Seaton Delaval Hall. Explore the natural playscape, discover the West Wing on an indoor trail, build a den in the woodland, have some fun with 50 things or simply run wild and free in the open landscape – just like the Delaval children would have done! There will also be toys and games outside in the paddock for you to use – challenge your dad to a tennis match, have a family game of football or tackle your friends in a friendly game of rugby!
