May half-term at Seaton Delaval Hall
Visit Seaton Delaval Hall every day throughout May half-term for a host of events and activities. All week enjoy garden games, competitions and pop up performances of magic, live music and storytelling.
Every day between 12-3pm take part in a competition: egg and spoon; sack races and grinning competitions... Grinning competitions were all the rage here 300 years ago... how long can you last?
Parachute games and our ever popular games chest are available all week. Join in or grab a ball and start your own game!
Regular craft session Make and Do is also on 11am-1pm on Wednesday 30 May (masks) and Sunday 3 June (musical instruments made from recycled materials).
Storytelling with popular storyteller, Chris Bostock, will take place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 12-3pm in the Secret Garden in the East Wing Courtyard while Magic Andrew will be entertaining us with illusions and trickery on Tuesday and Thursday between 1-3pm, also in the Secret Garden in the East Wing Courtyard.
As ever, you can also enjoy den building, our Delaval sheep trail and hear more about the history of the hall in our daily front of hall talks (12.30pm) and weekly garden tours (Mondays at 1.30pm).
