Where to eat this spring
Treat yourself to some tasty spring flavours in our café and tea room, with colourful mixes of seasonal produce making their way from plot to plate. Both tea rooms are open daily. The Mansion tea room is open 10am - 3.30pm and Park Farm Cafe is open 9.30am - 3.30pm.
Start your day off the right way with a breakfast from our tea room. Take your pick from a variety of options from hearty porridge to a regional favourite, the Staffordshire Oatcake. Breakfasts are served in the Mansion tea room daily from 10am – 12pm.
Plot to Plate.
Did you know that we most of the produce from our garden and farm go directly into our café and tea room? You can enjoy Shugborough’s home grown meat in our roasts and colourful veggies in our spring menu. Soups, one pots and sandwiches are just a selection of what’s on offer in our food and beverage outlets.
Not got time for a sit down meal? Our Park Farm Café is the perfect place for you to enjoy a quick bite to eat. Our café has a range of hot and cold drinks, tasty jacket potatoes and pasties and some homemade sausage rolls.
In 2018, we were lucky enough to be announced as the National Trust’s best scone. This is all thanks to the hard work of our bakers. All of our cakes and scones are handmade fresh for you to enjoy with a cup of tea.
Don't forget to stop off at our icecream station down at the midden yard. How many scoops will you have?
Do you know about our scone of the month? Each month, our baker will choose a special flavour for our speciality scone, chosen from the National Trust Book of Scones.
This spring we have:
- March – Lemon and Blueberry
- April – Tea Soaked Scone
- May – Coffee Maple and Walnut.
Something for the little ones.
If you have some tired little adventurers, then don’t worry, we have the perfect thing for hungry tummies. We have a children’s menu at our Mansion tearoom, as well as some sandwich boxes for you to fill. Don’t fancy eating indoors? Bring along a picnic for you to enjoy in the landscape.
