The garden has never opened in winter before but from December 2018, visit us on weekends for a relaxing wander through the garden rooms or from January, join a guided tour to see the garden in its winter glory and learn more about our work and history.

The Tower in Winter at Sissinghurst Castle Garden

The Tower at Sissinghurst Castle Garden

The tower sits within the heart of the garden and makes for a great bird's eye view of the garden's layout, as well as offering far reaching vistas across the wealden landscape. On the first floor is Vita Sackville-West's writing room, this is where the famous former resident would spend hours working on her novels and other works of literature.
