Easter Holidays at Speke Hall
Get back to nature over the Easter holidays and have some fantastic family outdoor adventures in the ancient woodland and grounds of Speke Hall.
Join us over the Easter weekend (14-17 April) for four days of fabulous Cadbury Egg Hunt fun. Explore the grounds, race through the ancient woodlands and solve the mysteries of the hunt to claim your delicious Cadbury chocolate treat reward.
The hunt will start in the Dairy Courtyard, next to the Hall. Please make your way there between 10.30am and 4pm to pick up your hunt map and start the fun.
The hunt costs £2 per child. Payment for the event can be made in cash in the Dairy Courtyard but if you're paying by card, please do so at Reception when you arrive. Please note that normal entry prices to Speke Hall do apply.
The next chapter of our Enchanted Speke series of events will unfold over the Easter holidays from 8-13 and 18-23 April. Accompany Robin Hood in his heroic adventures at Speke Hall, join the band of Merry Men as Robin battles against the wicked Sheriff of Nottingham in live dramatic performances, journey through the ancient Speke Forest on a courageous adventure trail and hear Robin’s many fantastic tales. Transform into a medieval hero with our face-painter and learn archery and canoeing skills to fit right in with Robin and his troop.
This event is included within your admission ticket (free for NT members and children under 5) but please note that there are charges for the sporting activities and facepainting.
In addition to the Egg Hunt or our Robin Hood event activities, there's always plenty to see and do at Speke for children of all ages. Solve the mystery of the hedge maze, explore the Giant Childe of Hale play trail or let off some steam in our two play areas, including our wonderful woodland play area. If you want to bring a family picnic then there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy it, or you can pop into our restaurant to treat yourself to a tasty lunch, kids box or something from our great range of handmade cakes.
