How to book
If you're interested in visiting as a group, please contact us so we can discuss your specific requirements to make the most of your visit.
We are only able to welcome two groups a day due to limited coach parking. Contact our group organiser on 01342 323029 or email us.
Special house tours
By special arrangement, we can provide a guided tour of the house at 10am for a maximum of 40 people.There is a charge of £12 per person and a minimum charge £300. Tours must be booked in advance, giving as much notice as possible.
Pre-booked garden tours are available, highlighting our Arts and Crafts inspired garden, the exciting work of our five year garden restoration project and the historic plant collection created by Margaret Beale between 1891 and 1910. There is an additional charge of £4.00 per person for a garden tour.
Standen History Talk
Enjoy a 20 minute overview of the Beale family and the home they built with an introductory talk on Standen. Can be booked for £50 for up to 30 people.
Rest and refuel
Our Barn Café is licensed and serves tasty, seasonal treats for coffee, lunch (hot food, 12–2.30pm) and afternoon tea. On busier days it may be necessary to split you into smaller groups to avoid queuing.Our shop offers a range of gifts and souvenirs inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement, and a seasonal plant sales area.
