Saturday at OctoberFest

The first of two days with some great activities for the kids and the whole family, encompassing our Cumbrian heritage and Nordic influence theme.

Go back in time and engage your inner Viking and creative skills at our crafternoon workshops in the Craft Forge – create your own Viking helmet or learn how to write your name in runes. These fun crafts as well as face painting will be taking place from 12-4pm at Sticklebarn.

For something fun and active in the outdoors, our friends at Grand Day Out have organised a 5km fancy dress family trail run and a score orienteering course. Who’s really got the competitive side in the family? Find out more and book tickets through the Grand Day Out website here: https://www.granddayoutcumbria.org.uk/events/

Food & drink
Saturday offers a selection of street food options and we’re delighted to have real ales from some of the Lake District’s best breweries.
