Sunday at OctoberFest
As the weekend draws to a close, OctoberFest continues with more fantastic family activities, delicious Cumbrian food, Lakeland real ales, live music and outdoor fun.
Grand Day Out family activities
Tail trails, 10.30am
Pick up those leads, put on those boots and join the Grand Day Out and Tail Trails team for a group dog walk with lots of dog fun thrown in. After the success of the first walk held at Sticklebarn, the team are back to guide dogs big, small, old or young and their willing owners on a 2-3hour walk with doggy challenges at the end, where prizes are up for grabs.
Score orienteering course, 10am-3pm
The challenge here is to find as many ‘controls’ as you can in two hours. Whether you’re a beginner or a more experienced navigator, this event will give you a buzz – the winners are those with the highest score so not necessarily the fastest or fittest people.
For more information on both events, and more happening on Sunday with Grand Day Out, see their website: https://www.granddayoutcumbria.org.uk/events/
Crafternoon at Sticklebarn
Go back in time and engage your inner Viking and creative skills at our crafternoon workshops in the Craft Forge – create your own Viking helmet or learn how to write your name in runes. These fun crafts as well as face painting will be taking place from 12-4pm at Sticklebarn.
Sunday is our Lakeland music day with a selection of some of the best local acts.
11am: Green Mans Apprentice

2.30pm: Paul Harrison
