Volunteering at The Kymin

A volunteer hard at work in the Round House, The Kymin, Monmouth, Wales

Volunteering with the National Trust can be a hugely rewarding experience

How can I get involved?

Our volunteers help make the Kymin special, whether it’s spending time baking delicious cakes for sale, giving an authentic Georgian experience as a Room Guide, helping out on the various family events held throughout the year or working in the grounds.  Give as much or as little time as you can spare, your contribution is invaluable to helping care for The Kymin forever, for everyone.

What can I get from my experience?

Meet new friends, learn new skills or give something back to your favourite place are just a few benefits from volunteering at The Kymin.  There’ll be opportunities to join staff and other likeminded volunteers at our social events or simply soak up the atmosphere and glorious views from this charming spot on the hill.

" I love meeting and interacting with the visitors at the Kymin, there is also the most amazing panoramic view to be gasped at and talked about. A perfect place to volunteer"
- Christine Hulbert, room guide at The Kymin
