Trails and egg hunts this Easter at The Weir Garden
Join us on our bug hunt this Easter holidays, find out what mini bugs we have here. And over the Easter weekend there is a yummy prize if you manage to follow the clues.
Easter Egg hunt
It's trails and hunts all of the way this Easter, as it's time to enjoy the fresh air and blow away those winter blues.
Between Friday 30 March and Monday 2 April we go looking for the Easter bunny with the help of friends. Can you find them? A chocolate prize is waiting for you to collect.
Or join us on our bug hunt, from Tuesday 3 April 2017. Use your map to find your way around the garden to discover the mini bugs that live here.
Natural Play Area
There is also an adventure waiting at the bottom of the woodland garden where you can balance and climb your way around our natural play course. Don't forget to see how high you can go on our rope swing too. The area is suitable for all ages and there's plenty of space for parents to sit and supervise.
50 things to do activity days
Have you started your '50 things' yet? There are plenty of activities you can tick off if you come to The Weir garden. Have you ever rolled down a really big hill or climbed a tree?
We are having activity days too on the 21 February and 11 April, so come along with your scrapbook and collect some stickers. If you've not started yet you can pick up a scrapbook at reception or download the App from the Trust website
And after all of that the tea tent is open if you fancy some well earned refreshments.
