Shopping at The Weir Garden

Visit our shop, opposite the tea tent. Browse for a treat for yourself or a gift for a loved one.

Local handmade crafts

We have a small collection of lovely and local homemade wares such as bookmarks and magnets by Gill Perkins and Weir inspired pottery by Pamela Price. The volunteers at The Weir also happily help supply our shop with handcrafted items such as bird boxes.

We also stock many of the popular National Trust favourites such as branded wool blankets, picnic rugs, cards, cushions and bags and tasty treats. Although small, The Weir Garden shop is exceptionally well stocked.

Pocket money gifts

We even have a pocket money section for our younger visitors where they can pick a small toy or treat. Don’t forget they can also pick up their 50 things to do booklets from here completely free of charge.

Pick up your plant and seasonal vegetables

We also sell our very own seasonal fruit and vegetables from the walled garden inside our shop so make sure you pop in and pick up something tasty for your dinner. We even sell a Weir inspired recipe booklet, created by our staff and volunteers who were happy to share their favourite recipes with visitors.

Secondhand bookshop

Head over to the tea tent opposite the shop to find our second hand bookshop. In here you can find a collection of all different genres and must reads. Don’t forget, every penny you spend here goes towards vital conservation of The Weir Garden.
We also gratefully accept donations of unwanted books; please consider us when you next sort out your book shelf.
