Summer fun at The Weir Garden

The warmer days and sunny skies means everyone enjoys being outdoors for longer. Here at The Weir Garden, you and your family can relax and play away the days throughout the summer holidays.

There’s no better feeling than feeling happy-tired after spending the day outdoors. This summer, we are taking the garden back to its heyday of the 1920’s with some beach-inspired fun. You can join us from Friday 20 July onwards for some summer beach fun as we bring the seaside to Herefordshire.

Back by popular demand, a section of the garden will be filled with sand for all to enjoy. We will also be hosting sock puppet making workshops in the tea tent, as well as creating a sock puppet theatre for all of your wonderful sock puppet performances.

Lots of creative fun this summer holiday!

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city as you wander around the colourful and vibrant garden. With the flowers all in bloom and the wildlife busily caring for its young, you’ll be in no rush to leave. Why not pack a picnic and stay a little longer?

Throughout the summer holidays we will also be hosting ‘50 things’ days every Wednesday, where your little explorers can have a go at ticking some activities of their lists.

So we invite you and your loved ones here this summer to enjoy this wonderful 1920s riverside garden in the sunshine. Thanks to you we can keep this special place safe for future generations to enjoy.
