Dog Walker Licenses introduced at Tredegar House

Four-legged friends are welcome at Tredegar House

We have recently started issuing our new compulsory dog walker permits. We have been planning this for some time and is a way for us to all work together consistently and safely. The permits do not have a fee for now but there are terms and conditions that need to be agreed and complied with.

Our parkland is popular all year round for local residents and visitors from further away. It is a great spot for local dog walkers and we're always here to welcome you and your four-legged friends. We are seeing more professional dog walkers returning to use our park and so are starting to issue our new compulsory dog walker permits.

Our professional dog walker permit is an initiative we have been planning for some time, as a way for us to all work together consistently and safely. The permits do not have a fee for now but there are terms and conditions that need to be agreed to and complied with.

If you currently walk dogs professionally at Tredegar House Park or plan to in the future please contact us for a Professional Dog Walker Permit form and copy of our Canine Code, by emailing tredegar@nationaltrust.org.uk
